Hello, my name is Gary Bolden. I am a musician, songwriter, producer, screenplay writer.
My experience in the entertainment industry began at the early age of ten years old. It led me to record and tour with some of the top names in the industry.
Now, as an inventor an amazing journey has begun. It started when I received a call for a recording session. I went to my collection of basses and picked out the one I needed only to realize I had dust all over my pots and pickups (pots and pickups are the electronic components that give the instrument its sound).
Well, that meant no session for me that day. It was then that I knew I could not have this happen again. I was not going to miss out on playing a session or gig again.
The WOW moment happened; I invented THE INSTRUMENT SHIELD. It is a clear vinyl recyclable plastic that will fit over any guitar or bass. It is 46 inches long and 23 inches wide, and I have discovered that it is much easier to put on and take off, then to remove it from my case; especially
when the creative juices are flowing.
